Delete Your Facebook Data

You can remove Facebook-connected data from Protomate in two ways. Both remove the stored Facebook and Instagram channel tokens for that Facebook user.

1. In Protomate
Disconnect the channel from your dashboard.
  1. Open the dashboard and go to Channels.
  2. Disconnect the Facebook channel (and Instagram, if linked via the same Meta connection).
  3. Optionally delete your Protomate account from Settings (contact support if the in-app control is unavailable).
2. Via Facebook
Remove Protomate from your Facebook apps list to trigger automatic deletion.
  1. Open Facebook → Settings → Apps and Websites.
  2. Find Protomate and remove it (and request data deletion when prompted).
  3. Facebook calls Protomate’s deletion callback. We delete matching Facebook and Instagram connection data and issue a confirmation code.
  4. Use the status URL Facebook returns, or open Data Deletion Status with your confirmation code.
Confirmation codes

Requests from Facebook are processed automatically. Each request receives a unique confirmation code so you can verify status (Received, Completed, or Failed).
